Wesley: Feng Shui. Gunn: Right. What's that mean again? Wesley: That people will believe anything. Actually, in this place, Feng Shui will probably have enormous significance. I'll align my furniture the wrong way and suddenly catch fire or turn into a pudding.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Consuela, glad you're enjoying your trip! Cafe culture sounds lovely.

I have balanced all the exercise I got this weekend by sleeping most of the afternoon. I blame the antihistamine.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy birthday, tommyrot!

I'm a fan of dark humor, but I think there's a world of difference between Addams Family Values and mocking the victims of natural disasters. What's with some people? Were they raised by Rush Limbaugh?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Oooh, Spain! I went when I was 14 on a class trip with my aunt, without knowing just about ANYTHING about Spain, or Spanish. Still knocked my socks off. I really must do it as an adult, because.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

So true. I mean, I keep hoping for Betelgeuse to go supernova so I can see one but nobody gets hurt by that and we can witness the birth of a nebula. I'm also fascinated by volcanos. But when people are hurt or killed by them is NOT the time to get all agog. It's cruel and, frankly, inhuman.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Were they raised by Rush Limbaugh?

Is this the part where we make a crack about his wives obviously knowing more about birth control than he does?

Given his total lack of knowledge about how both birth control works and how to interact with women, I am tempted to suggest it's impotence. But that's a medical condition and, hey, I shouldn't be a jackass and suggest I know more about his body than he does.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Is this the part where we make a crack about his wives obviously knowing more about birth control than he does?

Yes, please.

It must be college spring break time, right? I couldn't figure out why there were masses of young people roaming the subways tonight, freshman-pack style.

So, after multiple attempts to pick it up, I ended up returning my new coffee table today. Last week, they didn't have one in stock, and today they did, but it didn't fit into my mother's car. Oops. So I'm trying to decide if I should spend the $75 for delivery, or get a cheaper (and cheaper-looking) one from Overstock. @@

These Cartier commercials are amazing.
