I double my 8x8 brownie recipe when I want to use the big pan. It works fine.
Cool, thanks....and on closer examination, the baking chocolate-using big-pan recipe I have is about half of everything else in the cocoa powder recipe. So that's good. OK then!
Stay still, Suzi!
Oops, misread question. Doubling works, but they're a little thinner, so the cooking time probably needs to be shorter. Or this may all be irrelevant.
They'll be thicker, no? In 8x13 or whatever vs. 8x8 doubled? Either way, I will keep a close eye! As soon as I get up to do this.
Thicker. They'll be thicker. Apparently I'm living in backwards land.
Now I want brownies, but in my current mental state, who knows how they'd turn out.
Oooooh brownies. I have mini butterfingers.
Butterfingers are proof of a benevolent deity or just a universe that really, really cares.
ION, my body makes me laugh. In the past 2 months, I have been working out MUCH harder than I have in a while. I have, however, deliberately been not "dieting" in the sense of reducing calories to make the number on the scale get lower. And it hasn't. (And I haven't. Trader Joe's mini peanut butter cups are my weakness.) But I've lost 1 1/2 inches off my waist and -- seriously -- 2 inches off each thigh. In TWO months. That's wacky.
I guess I can wait to make these until tomorrow, but it occurs to me that I'll have extra choc chips, so maybe a few now....
Nice job Steph. I asked my doc when I can fully return to karate and he said a month (boo) but I can return sooner without pushups or hitting pads with full force (yeah). Never thought I'd say I miss working out, but I really do miss it.
