I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Jesus, Vonnie, I'm glad you and your co-workers are okay. Suzi, glad the surgery went well. meara, glad the plumber is on his way. Good grief, people, stop having stuff happen.

You've probably thought of this, meara, but be sure to ask the plumber about the shutoff so you'll know. The wrench things are pretty cheap.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Damn, it's been quite a day! Glad you are safe, Vonnie! Glad you are not on fire, meara! Yay for the good drugs, Suzi!

Oh, no, I've used up my allotment of exclamation points.

I took the sling off (per instructions) and I can move the arm some. He said I could move as much as tolerated. But am taking it slow. I'm trying to keep of the computer but all bets are off for my iPhone. I have already drug dialed my dad. My brain feels like Swiss cheese.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have a really small question, after all of this: Because I am lazy, when Trader Joe's didn't have the baking chocolate I wanted to buy for brownies, I just bought cocoa powder. All of the recipes I'm finding for cocoa powder brownies call for an 8x8 pan. I want to make a 9x13. Can I just double the recipe? OR, should I use a sub I found online of just adding more butter with the cocoa powder, and use a different recipe? (I also want to add choc chips and cherries, but that shouldn't be an issue, right?)

And in patting-myself-on-the-back news, I did remember my reusable bag AND put it back in my purse.

Because books.

Stay off the computer, Suzi! I'm glad you're feeling pretty good.

Also glad meara did not set the house on fire. That was quite a day.

I have hamentaschen dough in the fridge, thanks to Holli, and S. is making shrimp scampi and it smells SO GOOD.

information libertarian

I double my 8x8 brownie recipe when I want to use the big pan. It works fine. (It is appalling how fast my family can eat up a 9x13 pan of brownies.)

Also, Casper is doing homework and Dillo is drawing a picture of her blasting off in a space in a rocket.

Amy I've told myself this is the only place I can post, unsupervised, for now. Y'alls are the bestest. The kids are at the store getting my drugs and ice for my ice cuff.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have no idea on brownies. I want to veg tonight, not play video games with the noodle, but he wants mom time. I want adult time and have a strong compulsion to be flirty, yet no one to be flirty with.
