They plagiarized from the textbook you're using in class? That's, uh, I don't know that I have words for that.
Yep. I'm fine with them copying a theorem directly, but the assignment was to explain what the theorem meant, and they copied a few sentences from the explanation in the textbook. (Interestingly, they all chose different parts to copy, and only one of them picked a part that actually answered the question I'd asked.)
