"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

As some I don't know tweeted (and amyth retweeted), we're watching the worst FCM game ever.

Bwah!

why these fuckers think that Trump is an asset is beyond me.

I don't understand it either. If you're Romney and you're trying to look like less of a rich elitist, why align yourself with Trump?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BT, apparently the numbers of Dem voters in MI who voted for Santorum were low. Most dems didn't think it was worth standing in line to vote for that asshole.

Yep, that could only be significant at the margins. Even then, where there's proportional allocation it could only really change bragging rights.

Exit polls are putting Dems at about 5% of the Ohio primary voters.

Right? Although he isn't trying very hard on this front. I could give him tips. All these men running are fucking rich and yet Romney who has been running for office for years can't figure out how to be more approachable.

For the same reason that Tom Cruise surrounds himself with tiny people?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I spoke with my mom this weekend and we're talking both about my dad's newly diagnosed blindness, his upcoming cornea transplant (!!!) and the shootings at Chardon High School.

My cousin then sent me a link to this flickr set: [link] It's photos of the hallways and how they have been decorated by surrounding schools in support of that school community.

I am intrigued because I know what's been going on - vigils, human blockades against the Westboro church, and some amazing and beautiful tributes from teams they have played in the week since the shootings. I know of these things because of my mom and cousins and Aunt (who works for the school board). But it makes me wonder if there was a similar outpouring of love and support by surrounding communities after Columbine.

Romney would be a fucking disaster though. Especially to the middle class and lower economic strata.

Yes. But Santorum would be a fucking disaster for all of America, especially women. I'm not saying I want Romney to win, but he's a much lesser evil than Santorum.

I remember there was a lot.

I think we'll have to take advantage of Bob's Canadian citizenship and expatriate.

I think I'm grandfathered in by my dad's dual citizenship. I need to get my paperwork together, in case.

Depends. Was he born in Canada?

(I'm grandfathered in, on account of being born to Canadian citizens born in Canada, but Lillian does not get to be Canadian through me.)
