It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Triviality to you, Maria!

Problem with having work buds is that sometimes it takes forever to get to the work part of the conversation, and I still haven't finished telling him everything I needed to tell him, because we got distracted by things remarkably resembling dick jokes.

Still, he left Sour Patch Kids on my desk this morning, so he gets leeway.

Good lord, Maria, talk about the universe piling on! Much nothing-ma to you!!

Today I have: played with cat, returned a dress, got three other dresses to the alterations place and pinned (to pick up Saturday), got cash, requested the personal trainer at the gym call me to set up sessions, and dropped stuff off at the dry cleaner.

Still on the to-do list: figure out what's in my bank account, call old job to find out how much vacation they're paying out (their records didn't match mine but seemed to be outdated), re-do my taxes to include extra W-2 I forgot, and do a bunch of cleaning/reorganizing/optimizing in the house.

Oh, and catch up on the TiVo.

hip deep in pie

Test-ma to you Maria.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I can't decide if I should be more happy or annoyed that the building management (a) apparently fixed the leak in my kitchen sink the day after I called or emailed, or (b) did it without telling me ahead of time or leaving any kind of note or anything. They did leave a light on, as well as a random gasket or something on the floor, and my trash can not where it goes, so I know they were here.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

So, 11 advertisers have dropped Rush Limbaugh, and a radio station in Hawai has dropped Rush's program.

I read 12 at Jezebel earlier. Soon, he'll have to get his free speech rantypants on the way the rest of us do. He'll have to sign up for facebook.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's-nothing-ma, Maria. You deserve good and positive news.

So I can't decide if I should be more happy or annoyed that the building management

Ugh. They should mention somehow that they've been in. It's good manners and likely the law as well. Yay fixed though.

I'd like to be anything but annoyed with my bldg mgmt though. The people actually here are great but the management company has never done anything but annoy me, cost me money and make my life difficult. I don't even know where to go on the internets to tell people that renting from UDR will make you tear your hair out, cry and cost you serious money. Bleh.

So, 11 advertisers have dropped Rush Limbaugh, and a radio station in Hawai has dropped Rush's program.

I am actually shocked. I mean, relieved. But shocked. My view of humanity and America in particular is sad. Things like this make me want to hope just a little. But the fact that this conversation is ongoing and considered mainstream? Less.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Maintenance guy at my old place used to come in all the time, without notifying me. Like once a month, seriously, to change a filter or inspect something. I knew he'd been there by the dirty footprints on the kitchen floor. I hated it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Nothing-ma to you, Maria.

You guys, I don't think I can begin to tell you how long and hard this week is already.

And then my mother decided to tell me today that she was in the hospital for 2 days last week.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Gah, Lee! Does that mean she's out now? Is she okay?
