I like winter. Not hat ive had much time to test that this year.
Middling success with the Top Chef caliber raw dog food. She is eating it from the bowl; gingerly and with many back and forths. But if I turn my back for a second she is standing behind be whimpering and the cat is firmly ensconced at the bowl.
I probably don't want to know what kind of dildos, do I?

I think, at that point, it's a freak Spring Blizzard, and does not count as winter.

This year, oddly, we seem to have been basically winter-free (I think March is late enough that I can say that without jinxing it)
Here, too, but this week has been so gray and snowy and yuck that everyone has been super-cranky about it. And/or in general. It's like, now?? We thought we had gotten away with it!
I figure everyplace has its own weather/natural disaster risks, and you just pick the one you can deal with. Which often correlates to what you grew up with, as far as I can tell.

True, but you're out where the tough, pioneer-spirited people live. I've got a convenience stores a block away and two more two blocks in the other direction (it's great living near a freeway offramp).
I like winter, but we get our weird idealized version of winter here, where there's a lot of snow so you feel like it's winter, but it's so dry it doesn't generally impede driving for long. And I like the rhythm of the sun elongating into the sunroom, and sitting in front of the woodstove.
The house is comfortable all seasons, but I do like a snug winter.
