We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I was getting ready to put him outside, but now I think no. And I was going to take him with me to the little general store, but I think also no. He's going to go ballistic with me leaving into the vast dangerous world, though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've never eaten cow brains (on purpose), but I'm still a potential mad cow disease carrier. I'd assumed all prion-based diseases had the same transmission risks. Just because it kills you from the brain, doesn't mean it's isolated there.

This is perfect. I want it *so* bad. Even more badly than the last leather jacket I bought. Jesus.

I'm catching up on Ellen, so seeing the local news promos, and as of last week, apparently there was a "highly contagious stomach bug sweeping New England." So maybe that's what you have, Dana?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I think it may be sweeping more areas than New England, yeah.

Chacha says I shouldn't have sex with a stranger--only in a committed relationship. I should discuss expectations before engaging in a threesome.

Because books.

I think it may be sweeping more areas than New England, yeah.

The news here this morning said sixty-something students at Rider College had what they thought was norovirus.
