Is it tacky to wrap the drip pans in aluminum foil? I seem to recall my grandma doing that
My mother did that, too. I suspect it's not really necessary if you clean them periodically.
Good luck, FAQ-wife and FAQ-baby! Hang in there, Jon!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Congratulations, Vortex! That's excellent news.
Yay for Jon and FAQ-wife! And a lot of easy birthing ~ma, too.

Oh yeah, that "cleaning" thing. I hear that works. Besides, I suspect that aluminum foil with greasy food bits on it might be flammable, and I don't want to be the cause of a spectacular fire.
Timelies all!
Congrats Vortex!
Yay Jon and FAQ-wife!
Jilli, what is that Goth girl project you posted about somewhere on the board. Seem to gave lost the link, and my brain is not working cause can't find the link on the board. (I'll bet it is an accesible place, and just not finding it.)
Jesse - thanks for the link! I've gotten about 5 emails about that today, but it was your link that prompted me to set the Tivo.
And lots of baby ~ma!
Typo, not Jilli, but [link]
Just got out of a meeting with my new bosses. We're still working the kinks out with all the new stuff for me and reshuffling of cross training and everyone who survived the layoffs taking on new stuff. My boss did tell me that the reason they decided to keep me instead of the rest of my group was my "persistance and concentration on customer service," the second of which is something that I know I do damn well and it was nice to see it acknowledged.
I do have to improve my communication within the group, specifically to my boss(es), which is something I have let slip in the past. Slippage will not be tolerated under my new boss, so I have got to work on that!

It is. I now just buy new drip pans periodically.
