Note: spellcheck corrects "capping" to "aplomb". That's really rather random.
I do think I will refer from now on to my teeth with aplomb, rather than with crowns.....
I like bagpipes!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I like bagpipes, too. I remember my first summer I spent on campus in Milwaukee, between sophmore and junior year, and one evening, around 11:00, I heard several pipers playing. I knew CelticFest was that weekend, but I was surprised to hear pipers near campus. I looked out the window, and there were three pipers in full regalia, strolling down 14th Street, blowing away. Really cool!
So, who knew Eliza Dushku's mother is a big feminist Mormon? (Seriously.) [link]
I'm also in the bagpipe-loving camp, except when trying to sleep and so on. I suspect there must be some cilantro-ish nervous system tolerance in play.
I think I knew some of ED's family were Mormons, but I didn't know that.
I like bagpipes well enough, but only when I'm listening to them on purpose. Outside my office window, they would not be welcome.
Better than a drum circle, IMO.
So Frisco came through it all great. He is very sweet looking asleep. He had two molars crowned. We went for the one and got a bonus. It is a little unusual, I think. In his case, when his teeth formed in utero, the enamel in his molars didn't go all the way into the valleys of his teeth. He already has sealants on his baby molars, but part of one tooth cracked off, thus the need for the crown.
I initially resisted sedation because he is so small. But he had two dentists and a nurse anesthetist and it was the easiest work he has ever had done.
Good job, Frisco!
Way to go, little dude!
How are you doing today, Stephanie? You've been in my thoughts.
Also am wondering how brenda is doing. Haven't seen a post lately. (ETA: OK, a couple days. Not that long. Still!)
Unrelatedly, I'm making cornbread again. This could become a problem.
