Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Awara Paagal Deewana is one of my favorite Bollywood movies.

Did they actually have the lovely young thing dressed in nothing but a pistol?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That scene was lost in translation.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

That's annoying, Jesse.

Has anyone been involved in buying a mobility scooter? A friend's mother has, at age 95, conceded that walking is just too painful, and my friend is trying to figure out how to start shopping.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I may actually have the money in cash next weekend, which will definitely save a ton in cc interest, so it all works. Now I'm actually concerned that table is too nice for my other stuff! But I think it will be OK.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Dear people at the airport: please stop hovering by me. Hover somewhere else.

My nephew and brother spent saturday helping clean up tornado debris. (As part of a cub scout initiative.) After which, he wanted to buy a game that was available via amazon, but not in stores. After my brother heavy-footedly explained shipping costs, nephew decided he'd wait, but wanted to spend what would be the shipping cost on teaching a kid, after what he'd been doing (? I'm not sure how he got there, but there was an earnest convo with grandma in there.) I'm sure it was a coached conversation, but still. After quizzing grandma a second time, he'd upped it to $20. I just sent my brother to donorschoose.

I'll be tickled if he goes that route.

Because books.

I like that table a lot, Jesse. I want a new coffee table, too -- I wanted a big one for when we play games, but the one we got is actually too big. And it's IKEA, and already showing way more wear than I wanted.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's sweet, Sara.

Of course, I'm now totally reconsidering the notion of a black coffee table, as I sit here looking around. Or maybe I'll replace the random end table I got from some dead relative. I want all new everything! Crap.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

AUGH mechanical delay.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Most of my furniture is hand me down stuff. My couch is the newest thing I've purchased and I wish I had bought a different one. I can't justify replacing it yet.

Today is day two of the ick. I have gotten 2 load of laundry done and talked CJ through making some chicken tortilla soup (NOM). It is only 8:30 and if I could get the energy to go to my room, I'd be going to bed.
