I like money better than people. People can so rarely be exchanged for goods and/or services!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

She just so proudly presents the fact she's never met a gay or trans* person. It's icky.

That she knows of!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh, sara. Genius bar seems worth a shot at least?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Heh. The last time I went to the Genius Bar, the nice guy who helped me was named Matt Freake.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Shit, sarameg. I hate that feeling so very much. I hope you get good news.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You guys really aren't talking much. What's up?

I'm in the Kingston airport on the way home. Free wifi is so very civilised. So are patties.

Patties, yum. I'm sorry you didn't get to stay longer. It sounds like it did you a world of good to be home, and your family to have you home. And, from the sound of some of the conversational topics, the opposite of dull!

So far my Sunday consists of making cornbread, which is yum.

Corn bread:

This is interesting. Basically says big banks (mostly talking about/to BoA) are counting on online banking and bill paying customers to stay despite the debit card fee because of the hassle of moving all that somewhere else. [link]

Every bill I pay is online, but it's not such a huge set-up that I'd stay just for that. I get inertia, believe me, but in this climate, I wonder whether they're counting a bit too much on it.

brillig

I pay my bills online, but I go to the websites of the people I pay the bills for, I don't go through my bank. I don't want my bank that tied up in my computer.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Went to brunch with Gary's mom and my folks. Went to the Original Pancake House.(though probably not the original Original) There was Dutch Baby on the menu, though I still don't know what that is. Had cinnamon apple waffles. Yum.

Now tagless for your comfort.

We pay online through our credit union but they're not scheduled payments or anything--just a list of payments we make . I don't see how it would be that hard to set up a new list of payees with a new bank.
