Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

hip deep in pie

I'm not sure I could get her into a carrier right now without physical damAge to one or both of us. The plan is to go help/ watch the movers unload and then come back for her. Hopefully by then she will be calmer

Perkins, that's totally what I did with my cats when I moved. I also had a signed on the bathroom door saying DO NOT OPEN, CATS INSIDE, so the movers wouldn't let them out. They could pee at the new house if they wanted.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Nothing wrong with pink, Amy! Your target audience is teenage girls, so...

Do you like it otherwise?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha, Jesse. We're having venison tenderloin, garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus. So...dinner in the 50s in rural Kansas?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Went to see Christine Lavin in concert last night. Good show, as usual.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yum!

I am going to put the rest of the sprouts in farro tomorrow, maybe after a little more roasting. They were the little frozen ones from TJ's, and I'm not that thrilled with how they came out.

I have a pot pie in the oven that I made from scratch. Later I may make scones.

I have a frozen pizza in the oven. I took the plastic off with my own hands.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We're having ham & swiss sandwiches, chips and edamame--so, dinner in a house with some pretty lazy people?
