A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I'm drinking coffee, not going to Hawaii, on Day Two of the Garage Sale, and it's 43 frickin' degrees.

I envy shrift.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

CJ got his first fire call this morning. ARP assists the local fire dept on structure fires, providing traffic control, fresh oxygen tanks and whatever other non-fire fighting assistance is needed. This one is a house fire less than 3 miles from our place. He wants to be a fireman someday, so he is very excited. The fire itself seems small and already under control. No ambulances so I'm assuming the people got out ok.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I envy shrift.

I may envy the destination, but I'll never envy anyone who's at O'Hare.

I hope there are eager customers coming your way, Erin.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Huh. I am lacking in gruntle. I just watched an HBO documentary on transsexuals and am irritated by the filmmaker's conflation of homosexuality and transsexuality. I can't really mark my sister's students down for doing it, when the source material was. Although I'd give any of them serious extra points for noticing. None did. Many made the same mistake.

There was also a lot of conflation of third gender and transsexuality, but I think I need to read up on that more. If you consider yourself neither male nor female, are you a transsexual?

My mother and I introduced my sister to the concept of asexuality yesterday. My mother continually surprises and impresses me.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Safe travels, shrift.

Wishing you scads of customers with money to spend, Erin.

I'm so proud of CJ!!

Yeah, that's pretty annoying.

If you consider yourself neither male nor female, are you a transsexual?

I would say no...

And I think that having surgery doesn't have to make you a transsexual. That's male to female or vice versa. If you're constructing something else deliberately with surgery, I don't know what to call it, but not that.

Stopped on the way back from the market to watch the marathon leaders come through (men and women.) HOLY SHIT they can move!

Neighborhoodies chalked up the road with good wishes, have a sound system set up. Going back shortly.

Okay, now I've just confused myself on the transsexual issue. I'm not suite what I think anymore, except there is no inherent link between homosexuality and transsexuality. That's case by case. I still don't wasn't to put grades on these papers

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm at SFO waiting for my flight to Lihue. I am already thoroughly sick of United, even before I board.
