Oh hey, thanks to you guys for posting about FlyLady. I'm sure I can't deal with the method, but I have been Much Better about dealing with my dishes recently. I went to get a bowl out of the dishwasher tonight, and realized that it's dirty in there! The clean dishes are put away! Good times.

I did my onerous task today, by going to replace my lost driver's license. I note that my county has changed the name of the DMV to Department of Driver Services, apparently trying to escape the curse of the DMV. It was less onerous than I had feared, except that they've closed the only office anywhere near me. Then I got some Sudafed for my stuffed-up sinuses, which I hadn't been able to buy without a driver's license.
DDS - just like a trip to the dentist?
Owen was just dancing to it. He said, "Very good."
That is such a compliment!! Glad you like it too!
Happy birthday to Cash, megan, Matt, and ita's dad! Also, ita I am so glad to hear your mom is doing well.
Seeing Amy last night was wonderful. And oh hey, maybe my feeling like crap wasn't just a flare-up of the assorted bugs in my system, but a mild hangover. Huh.
I'm doing my usual option for Halloween: Victorian vampire. But I have new special effects options for bloodspattering my clothes! Thanks to Bloodstix glue gun sticks, I won't be covered in sticky stage blood this year.

Ooooo. Yes.
I am ridiculously excited to try them out. Pete is worried that the color is too brightly red, and not dark enough for what he thinks blood should be, but I think it'll be fine.
But first, I have to get through Steamcon this weekend.
The garage sale shit may not be yours, but any money will be, won't it?
Oh, yes. Yes, it will. Guys, you should see my garage! It's like my superpower is being mainly a one-person Hoarders clean-up crew. (Dan did help for the last hour and a half or so.)
I still need to haul all the stuff out from the dining room, and do some pricing, but I am getting down to the "Everything in X box is a quarter" section of my energy. And I can do some pricing in the morning, cause I'm having Dan get me up at 5, when he wakes. The garage sale starts at 8 am.
Damn, I hope our wi-fi reaches to the garage. I know it does to the deck and in the driveway.
I'm work until 9 and then I'm calling it quits for the night, except for maybe continuing some laundry. Load 18 and counting. Taking a tea and smoke break now...Dan's talking to M, and I should get on the phone, but my mood is...cranky. I'll call him this weekend.
Good luck with the sale!
I really need to start tidying up for the parents.
Oh Jilli, I am sending a fabulous baby bat your way. If a poised young lady named Gillian come up to you, I sent her. She loves your book, and her mom is my bestie from high school.
