I was supposed to go see an apartment tonight, but just got an email that it's (a) "garden" i.e. basement, and (b) carpeted. Yeah, no. My cat could not deal with carpets. At least she told me via email!

My failure to finish my paper actually didn't go too badly--I told the teacher, and he just shook his hand at me and told me to turn it in next week (he's older, and doesn't do well with computers, so he insists on hard copy only, no emailed documents).
