Can't any one of your damn little Scooby club at least try to remember that I hate you all?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Well, this will certainly end well:

DHS Launches ‘Minority Report’ Pre-Crime Detection Program:

"The department's Science and Technology Directorate has conducted preliminary research in operational settings to determine the feasibility of using non-invasive physiological and behavioral sensor technology and observational techniques to detect signs of stress, which are often associated with intent to do harm," according to a statement DHS gave CNET.

Um. They are also associated with BEING STRESSED.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am so glad you are able to fly out, ita_!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Much ~ma to ita's mom and whole family.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

It'll be better, even if it's worse.

Very true. I'm glad you're able to fly out, ita_!.

Give yourself permission to cry if you need to. For me, it's incredibly cathartic. It's like I'm letting go of all of the stuff that will eat me from the inside otherwise.

I'm pretty sure crying is cathartic for me, but it also makes me feel physically pretty wretched. So any catharsis is overwhelmed by feeling like utter crap.

Because books.

I can manage not to cry at work. In front of family, forget it. Waterworks. And it gets worse if people try to hug me or touch me during.

I get the crying hangover, too. Not pretty.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Lots of ~ma, ita. I hope your mom's surgery goes ok and her recovery is quick and complete.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm feeling pretty cry-hungover all the time these days, whether or not I actually cry.

Great. Pharmacy is out of stock of pain meds. Now I have to convince another location to fill it.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

ita, I'm so glad you're getting to go. It will be comforting to be closer, even if you still aren't able to *do* anything to influence the outcome. Just being close will help.

I try not to either because it sets off a chain reaction. I find a secluded corner and let enough out to get through the next period of time.

Exactly this. And also,

This board is where I give myself permission to cry and rant and rave.

Maria says it. You know we're here, and we've got you, whatever you need to offload. We can take it, and we want to.

All best possible wishes for your mom, your family, and you.

Our wings are not tired.

Cry in the shower. It gets it out and you are all wet anyway.
