Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Mummy's surgery was scheduled to start ten minutes ago. Quite distracting.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Much ~ma to Mother of ita.

Because books.

All kinds of ~ma to your mom, ita.

I think the only time I haven't had oodles of time to kill before a flight was flying out of Vegas. If I hadn't been there two hours ahead, I wouldn't have made it. Security lines for days.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thinking good thoughts for your ma, ita !.

I am crampy and bleh, but continuing to sit here will only make it worse. It is beautiful outside and I am going to the movies and for a walk. SO THERE.

The timing thing really varies based on airline and terminal. If I'm checked in and have a boarding pass, it's an hour max, unless it's United out of SFO or SW out of Oakland.

Of course, I'm also the person who back in the day arrived at the TWA terminal at JFK a 1/2 hour before my flight to Paris with an oil painting too big to go through the baggage x-ray machine. Good times.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I fly SW out of Oakland all the time! Have you had issues?

The security line is usually ridiculous. But now I know the trick of going in on the Terminal 1 side if the line is long. Of course, I really try to avoid OAK just because it's a much bigger pain to get there.

Wow, yeah.

Hey, I made the flight. (Note: It was not my painting, which is hilarious because, can you imagine that today? "No, it's not mine. My Iranian friend gave it to me to give to her mother. Really, just quickly hand inspect it, I'm sure it's fine.")

Oh, the strip search you could have had!

Are we still taking shoes off? Weren't they going to do away with that?
