Willow: Yikes. Imagine the things...Buffy: No! Stop imagining! All of you! Xander: Already got the visual.

'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I've had Matilda this morning.

So we went to breakfast at Zazie (she was well behaved and enjoyed her pancake and hot chocolate). Also she dressed herself while I was in the shower. Unprecedented!

But then we came back and Did Math for about an hour.

Then we took out all the trash, and she carried two bags of recycling down and her diaper pail bag. (She still wears a diaper for sleeping at night.)

When JZ gets home they'll go to see The Secret World of Arrietty.

So Math and Trash Removal would be our productivity so far today.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I cleaned my kitchen a bit, and baked soda bread. But mostly, I read Catching Fire, which was my plan for the weekend, though I don't think that it can really count as productivity.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Totally counts, you have to get that stuff done before the movie. There's a deadline, so it must be a task, right?

In all seriousness, though, I think it's important to put fun stuff on your todo list, because it makes me more likely to work the list.

Okay, good job, productivistas! And go you Zen on the weight loss! I am down to my lowest weight since November, which I'm counting as a win and hoping to keep the general trend going.

I hung the laundry and the yard is clear. I am now taking a juice break and then I guess I'll tackle the kennel? I'll really be much happier during the storm if it's reasonably clean, it will make dealing with the dog much easier.

I apparently really really don't want to deal with the recycling today. Which I think I'm just going to accept. It's so windy it's just difficult to wrangle, and it looks like I've tucked everything in enough to where I'm not creating any additional litter at this point. It's not necessary before the storm, so I think I'll just deal with it after.

It was going to be necessary before spring break (this week is spring break part I, next week is part II) because I was trying to talk the SO into going down to Sedona for a day, where we could drop off the glass and high number plastic. But with the weather there's no way that's happening, and I'm going to be housebound instead. He won't be, so he's going to go for his last bout of snow camping. More power to him, but I'm not going.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Ha - the Illinois is having SoCal weather and SoCal is having our weather.
Sure, rub it in. Although, the news said we would get about one inch of rain, and I can hear my TX friends laughing... "one inch? All day?? That's what we get in about 15 minutes. Suck it up Cali's" (Because they think 'Cali' is the proper abbreviation for California).

I'm at work. Today is Thesis Crit show day. Braved the weather. We had the walk through of the sound system, and lunch. The show is in about 30 minutes. But our "lobby" is outside, and it raining and all, I'm in my office. Blargh. Today is perfect day to stay in warm sleep clothes with blankie and TV remote.

Update on Condo short sale offer. The selling bank has requested a price affirmation or some such on the place. Basically, an appraisal to see that the offer is on par with what it's worth. So, hopefully by the end of the week, we will learn the result of that.

BT, that audio file was the cutest thing!!! Thanks for sharing. Amazing, he was on pitch! That kid has an ear.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thanks, Liese!

I'll really be much happier during the storm if it's reasonably clean, it will make dealing with the dog much easier.

Adult thinking! Forethought! Doing something you don't want to do now in order to be happier later! Whoa...

Dishes done, sinks cleaned, groceries put away. "Lunch" consumed. Okay, it was pork rinds. But I'm not really hungry. On to the next, as they say on Ghost Hunters... not that I watch Ghost Hunters. Except I do.

Anybody up for playing the productivity game?

I walked a 5K, went to FedEx to pick up a package, went and got brunch, stopped at the store for kitty litter, and am now collapsed on the couch. I don't know that there will be much more productivity for all of today.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Anybody up for playing the productivity game?

Um. Had breakfast? Made lunch and am now having that? But we're going to go grocery shopping and take a bunch of books to Half-Price, so that counts, right?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Okay. Tub scrubbed, toilet cleaned inside and out (except around the base/floor, which will be next), mirror cleaned, sink scrubbed. Bonus dishes done, backsplash cleaned, dish liquid thingie refilled from the giant neverending bottle of dish soap under the sink.

Drinking some water, and then back to the bathroom to dust mop up the pet hair, clean the base/floor part of the toilet (sweet Zeus, I hate doing that more than any chore EVER), and wet-mopping the floor. The bathroom rug will get vacuumed later by the Vacuumer-In-Chief, and then it can get washed.

Bathroom floor, kiss your filth goodbye.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

When it's chaos in the streets and Buffy is roaming through Sunnydale she passes some people clustered around a fire in a trashcan. Aimee is the one drawing focus by tucking her hair behind her ear.

I can't find her! It's the scene where she kisses Riley, right? There is a fire in a trashcan, but it's two dudes fighting and Riley breaks it up.

Art Crawl!!!

Isn't it when Buffy and Willow are walking to Giles' house?
