Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I hope no red blotches tomorrow morning. I'm glad you will at least be getting another blood test.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Neighbor's band is practicing again. It's making me really antsy. I wanted to watch some TV tonight, but I can't with them practicing. (It's not that they're so loud I can't hear the TV. It's just that competing sounds really bothers me, and having that music plus the TV sound will make it impossible for me to do anything.)

I'm all packed in preparation for heading to NJ tomorrow at about 10am. I had hoped to have a traveling companion (which would have made bathroom breaks so much easier) but am on my own due to illness and schedules.

Every good thought for the pooch loving the job would be greatly appreciated. He's such a love, by all reports, that it will be hard to let him go if everything isn't as it needs to be. But steady I will go. This is such a huge deal, I really want to get it right for both of us.

If this one doesn't work out, for any reason, I'm going to retire from the process for a bit. I'm assuming I'll be okay either way.

He is currently in Cranford, NJ.

I confess, I have no idea where that is.

eta: Scola! If you have any reason to visit DC this weekend (Rock 'N Roll Marathon/Cherry Blossoms etc.) and can meet us near Cranford, you are welcome to ride with us.

I'm borrowing a fairly comfy old 'Benz.

Cheers. The stab, it was in the dark.

I'm sure it will be fine. I just need to scope out restrooms not connected to fast food places to I can take him in with me.

I'll be doing 'track training' with him for the first couple of weeks, which means he will be lashed to me. Plus, I'd never leave him tied up outside. Doubly because he won't technically be mine yet.
