May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I slept ok, but i'm a little tired and brain-thuddy. Ah, well.

Been working this morning anyway -- although there was barely enough coffee for 1 cup BAD HUSBAND NO COOKIE -- and I'll write until it's time for my 2pm yoga class. There was a Groupon and a friend who I give rides all the time bought me 15 yoga classes! Which was super-nice and I'm really excited about it.

I have to brag about it here because I can't go into the SPN thread because the damned DVR didn't record Friday's SPN, so we haven't watched it yet, but...Dan, last night, finished the last episode of SPN on Netflix Streaming. He watched all 6 seasons in 3 weeks.

I'm so proud...

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Glam, tons of it's nothing~ma headed your way.

Erin, I'm sorry you have to deal with so much drama.

Has anyone else had their allergies hit them hard this week? I feel like I have a cold, but I am pretty sure it is just allergies.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, that is wonderful.

I neglected to give you mad props on your continuing mature dealings with little miss drama x. And so good to hear your husband stepped up and drew a line.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Has anyone else had their allergies hit them hard this week?

YES! And I don't even have allergies, really. The SO just developed them last year, but it's been bad even for me. I got just about no sleep last night, and it's already a problem for me!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Has anyone else had their allergies hit them hard this week?

I sure have. Call me Ms. Snuffleupagus.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

There was new SPN? Dammit! I am a bad fan.

My allergies have been brutal this year but mostly extra special fun sinus continually and then itchy eyes and some sneezing. Which is odd for me. I usually get the whole shebang. The sinus stuff is most unpleasant.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I've been having monster sinus issues. Stoopid early spring.

On the other hand, my daffodils are coming out! But likely to get killed in Sunday's snow.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

All kinds of ~ma, Glamcookie!

Has anyone else had their allergies hit them hard this week?

Hells yes.

Thrive to spite them

The appointment with the temp agency went well. They were very impressed with my resume (vs the other temp agency where the dude said it was confusing) and I tentatively have a job, but I won't know until Wednesday afternoon so a little job~ma until then would be great.

The job sounds good too, something I'd like and it would be 4-6 months possibly longer and pay well.

I met Will for lunch. And then I went to TJ Maxx in search of a non black purse. The search was hard because 90% of what they had in spring colors was $100 or more. Even the clearance stuff was too expensive. I finally found a cute vintage inspired aqua handbag.

I also made a friend. Another woman and I started bemoaning the high price of the handbags and then just chatting. And I said I was new to Vermont (Although I realize I've been here almost a year) and then she said we should exchange numbers. So we did. And then spent the next hour shopping and chatting. I helped her pick out a pair of killer shoes for a date on Saturday.

We're going to try and get together for lunch sometime.
