'War Stories'

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, for Daniel being home!

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I own the two naughtiest cats in the world. My cleaner is afraid of cats, so we put them outside. They broke the latch on the kitty door and got back in. They then let me chase them round the house trying to trap them in one place. That's my exercise for today, at least.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Someone let a dog with a history of aggression hurt Frankie? What a jackass! I'm sorry, smonster.

Welcome home, Daniel! I hope your recovery continues apace.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Fifteen minutes at a time, Erin. And take a ten to fifteen minute break each hour to put your feet up, drink water, check in (/flylady).

Seska, I think there's pretty fierce competition for the naughtiest cats, and I think my roommate's cats are in the running. One won't eat her own food, but is a fiend for my cats' food and people food and plants. She's also an escape artist. The other loves to test gravity with pint glasses and cans of food and such. Both like to try and get in the fridge every time the door is open, IDEK. And that's just in the last two days. I do have supercute video of Frankie playing with them, though.

Thanks, Calli. He's going to be fine, but I don't want any other dogs to get hurt.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm glad Frankie is going to be ok, smonster. I'm still upset on your behalf, though.

Our wings are not tired.

Good morning, WS. How are you and Daniel doing this morning?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

smonster, I tend to houseclean/declutter in longer stretches. It's weird; sometimes I bitch about it, but it can really be a flow activity for me. Organization soothes my soul.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Ye gods, I have no patience for work today. And there is rather a lot of it to be done. And people keep bringing me more work to do. I would actually rather be home doing housework.

YAY for Daniel's return! That is excellent news. I will keep sending the ~ma until it's no longer needed.

smonster, ack, so sorry about poor Frankie! I'm glad he's healing up OK.

And Pix & ND, I said it elsewhere, but will say it again: I'm so sorry about Byron. He's had a long and wonderful life with you guys, and you're giving him the best ending you can. I know it's hard, and I'm sorry.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Someone in this house has been digging up chipmunks in the rain and looks like a coal-mining dog.
