You guys had a riot? On account of me? A real riot?

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

sumi, I hope you are comfortably resting at home very soon.

I cannot wait to no longer be living in the same building with people who feel the need to slam doors every five minutes and sigh loudly outside my door in what I can only assume is an attempt to show annoyance with me for something.

Our wings are not tired

Hee!! (As a side note, my current ring (we're getting rings made, but M's needs to be cast, and it's a favor from a friend, so it'll take a bit) is tungsten carbide, and is heavy like woah. I love it.)

My wedding ring is tungsten carbide with laser engraving. They are certainly weighty. I love the fact that they are virtually indestructible though.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Paul and I have been wearing tungsten carbide rings for everyday for a few months now. They're heavy, but feel very nice on.

I just took a closer look at the picture of your ring juliana, and it looks like we have the same engraving. It's the celtic knot with the dragon detail.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Hee!! Yep, that's the one. I chose it because not only did we get married in the year of the Dragon, M's sister Dorothy (the one who passed away) was born in the year of the Dragon. And a virtually indestructible ring is a very nice thing to have when one works with one's hands.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

There is a "ball & chain"/symbolic/whatever" reference in there somewhere. But it's Monday, and I was working until midnight last night, so words aren't as forthcoming as they normally might be.

With that, I add to the congratulations and the fabulous pictures!!! Whee! So happy for you!!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

damn! I love those rings and I looked them up online. fabu.

I'm going to have to keep this in my back pocket for later.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

OMG, I want to get married now. I know I can get *one* tungsten carbide ring, but they look so cute in pairs.

The status is NOT quo.

Aw, I kind of love that we have the same rings. I couldn't get that one in a size that would work on my wee hand, alas, so my friend Crystal designed a modified version that we had engraved on a smaller white gold band. Mine isn't indestructible, so I'll probably have to replace it at some point.
