Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yep, I keep trying to get her to come and work on Halloween with us.
Spending time fighting with Audacity has shown me HOW rusty (or non-existent!) my sound skills are. But one of these years, I will come work on Halloween with you.
Jilli, come down here and be in the Ode to the Sound Designer that I wrote.
Hee! Oh, that would be fun.
Hee! Oh, that would be fun.
Insent for your enjoyment.
Yaaay! And thank you! But I will read it in the morning (what I call morning), because I have hit a wall, and need to go take a bath and zone out. I will finish editing the GCS radio show tomorrow, and see if I need to record any segues.
PC had some excellent technical support with the Ode. Doo eeeet Jilli!!
As for Audacity. Yeah, you will be fighting it. Its good software for its price. But if you want a piece of software that is more intuitive, you'll pay for it. But when you are using it all the time, it's worth it's weight in gold plated latnum.

I did indeed! Couldn't have done it without you, man! Thanks again. I can't wait to see how it turns out. And my Ode to the Concessions is going to be flipping hilarious with the director and cast it's got. It's funny because I had a specific actor in mind for the main role, but someone else read it at the first meeting, and he brought it to life in such an unexpectedly perfect way that we all basically agreed that he had to do it.
For right now, Audacity will be fine. If the show (and the parent show/site) start making money, I'll poke you guys about what I might want to get.
Which reminds me! This is my in-thread note to myself: I need to pick sound-people's brains about microphones. Probably tomorrow, because I don't want to dig up the links I have questions about while I'm typing on my phone, in the bath.
bonny, what everyone else here wisely said.
being the wuss that I am
Pffft. (This isn't a hairpat. This is a reality check. You, sir, are not a wuss).
Now, go and take comfort in Fluffy or something.
Bonny, the fosters I have dealt with are most concerned about finding th best parent for the pet and won't mind a trial. I hope Pork Chop is the one for you.

But he also has xcllent hair, so I would go for the hairpat too. I hope today is better, omnis.
More later, but not on a good typing thing.

Humm. Good to know.
bonny, the rescue org not only let me take Frankie for a weeklong trial, they lent me a leash, harness, and crate to do so. It's a completely reasonable request and any foster who truly cares about the animal would not only agree, but encourage it.
Nora, fingers crossed for y'all!
