In the last hour I found out that my sister made out with a former work colleague last night (they figured out the connection today)(I used to have a crush on him) and just kind of sort of met the guy whose firing made way for me to get hired. The first was mostly amusing, the second mostly awkward.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
The first was mostly amusing, the second mostly awkward.
Better this than the reverse? Still, ack!
Happy birthday, omnis.
For those asking Yom Kippur includes a water fast. Also there is a health exception, and some people do include any degree of sickness that fasting makes worse, but others only make exceptions if fasting has a chance of causing death or a permanent worsening of health.
I thought so, TB, but I am a heathen who took a very short course in comparative religion...thought maybe I was looking for a loophole.
Tb,
no water either? Glad I'm not a Jew. I'd be dead after one observance.
Happy Birthday, Omnis!
In other fuck cancer news, our senior kitty Byron's has returned. We found out today. He's basically on hospice with us until the time comes, which will likely be soon.
Happy Birthday, omnis!
TCG and I had dinner tonight with Karen (I can't remember her board name since she hasn't posted here in a while) and her BF at a fabulous English Pub. We had a great time. We also went to the Victoria & Albert Museum (sadly the dress exhibit is currently closed) and to Portobello Road, where I bought lots of goodies, including a pair of spats.
{{{Pix}}} I'm so sorry. Byron is such a lovely cat.
Oh no! Pix, I am so sorry. Selfishly, I'm glad we got to visit with Byron last week, because he's such a wonderful cat.
