You're nice, and you're funny and you don't smoke, and okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month, I'm not much fun to be around, either.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I can't believe that anyone in 2012 would think it's a seller's market. Also, they sound like they got the realtor they deserve. Them + the realtor = an unbeatable combination (in the Olympics of Arrogant Greedy Stupidity).

But they have the perfect turnkey house! With a shower light that could kill you if it isn't grounded, a ton of other electrical problem, a finished basement done with no permits, and garage with no firewall. t saracasm

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

So, real estate agent for the first house e-mailed my agent and went on about how disappointed her sellers are and if they essentially do everything on our original list, would we still be interested. "No, sorry they already have an offer accepted on another house." I wish I could have seen her face.

Yes, they should film this and show it frequently.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

New game! Stalk their MLS listing (every quarter or so should do) and see how many $ sorry they are for being such tools.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Haha, brenda, I would totally do this!

askye, sorry the search has been so rough, but you definitely need to be putting yourself out there. Get yourself actually rejected! Get actual experience in trying! And hey, maybe one of them won't be a rejection!

Seriously, you're smart and totally capable of being a great employee, and someone out there is going to be lucky enough to find that out. But you've got to give them the chance.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So I've been kinda semi paralyzed with being overwhelmed at the stupid job hunt. And I didn't look for a job, no I looked, but I didn't really apply for any jobs for several months. I realized I can't keep doing this, but I just look at the job listings and think "no one wants me".

Hey, this is me and women!

So are you and Hec comparing notes, or what?

Heh, you know Hec & I are simpatico! But yes, it's good dating advice for you and (I think, or I wouldn't have given it!) good job hunting advice to askye. I believe in you guys! Go out and get 'em!

I know it's harder to do than say, but really, go!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Yes, go!

Thrive to spite them

I'm putting myself out there, I found another job to apply for. I saw some signs up for retail jobs but I'm not sure how good I'd be at selling sports equipment.

I paid to get Penny spayed, it's more expensive than the state program but she'll get fixed next Thursday (rather than waiting for paper work to go through).

My other challenge is getting out and doing things (cheap things) even if I'm doing them myself. The town's winter carnival got cancelled (due to lack snow or any real winter) but there's a Chili Cook Off next weekend. I'm not entering, but I'll go and eat some chili, hopefully Will can go with me and if not, then I'll go by myself.

Or maybe see if anyone in the knitting group wants to go.

Good for you, Askye! I'm glad you were able to identify what you were doing and fix it. Good luck finding a job and in reaching your other goals.
