Huzzah! I had the great fortune to hang out with the beautiful and awesome Vortex this evening, which was awesome on ON ALL THE LEVELS. Definitely a giant plus in the "coming to CT" equation.
It was so funny, it had been so long since I had a conversation with anyone besides my parents that I feel my skills were lacking, but it was all good.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange
I gave blood today before work (helpful hint: don't donate blood first thing in the morning. It's apparently the one time i'm not adequately hydrated) and removed all the compression/adhesion tape a few minutes ago. Mal is now sitting on my lap compulsively licking the area where the tape was. But only when i'm looking at buffistas, if i switch over to a different browser tab he stops. I'm pretty sure he's trying to send felines support to all the Buffistas having a crummy day. So purrs and licks from my little black cat to ya'll.
