Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Just went to one of the biggest booze stores in the area for some beer to take home. (Yankee Spirits in Sturbridge MA)

I bought 7 big bottles from New England brewers PLUS my friend brought me two bottles from Cambridge Brewing Company, so I am psyched!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I love the new place!

real estate agent disrespect. This should be a reality show. I would totally watch.

What is even happening?

sj, I love the new place! Best of luck with it. Question: Is the agent you're working with a buyer's agent?

...

Maria, darling, I've been thinking of you and praying for you, all day. I hope your family is holding you up.

Yes.

Oh, that's so good. We never worked with a buyer's agent, but I always wish I had. Truth be told, our agents were good to us, but even if they're with a brokerage that's not listing the property, they are seller's agents, unless otherwise specified.

We found our buyer's agent at an open house for a house we didn't like, checked his references and hired him because we really liked him. He's really worked very hard for us.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

sj, I really like this new potential house much better than the previous one. Keeping fingers crossed for reasonable sellers this time around.

Thrive to spite them

sj I like this house - lots of light. And ceiling fan in the bedroom! It's a small thing but I miss having one in the bedroom, it makes things much more comfortable in the summer.

Oh, ChiKat. I am so very sorry. I know how much you love him, and how much he loved you. Peace and rest and strength to you. {{ChiKat}}

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ChiKat, I'm so sorry. But I'm glad you got to say goodbye, got to make the best (although sad) decision.
