Oh, it's good to see so many other Buffistas who are fans!
Part of me is just waiting (grimly) for them to rerun the episode where everyone has incredibly upsetting, wrenching dreams. That episode, as disturbing as it was, was also definitely one of my first "Oh, narrative television can be an art form" revelatory moments, if not the very first itself.
I am up, Maria. You still on? I will babble foolishly for as long as you need it. I had a two teeny shot glass of Sauternes and my Ambien (don't worry, y'all, my tolerance makes this like melatonin for me) so I might be even stupider.
But I am here.
Every TV in my dorm was set to the same channel when the finale of MASH aired.
Oh, man, JZ, that ep was so good. SUCH good TV. I still catch it occasionally at my folks, and it's just a mac and cheese, nostalgia pleasure for me.
And not a dry eye in the whole dorm.
I cried when Henry's chopper went down. I was 7. It was my first HSQ TV moment.
And looking back I cannot BELIEVE Klinger was in drag for most of the show, even though he was trying to get a Section 8.
Ferretface! He was so good at being despicable.
Holy shit quotient moment on TV. I think Hec coined it during Buffy.
And not a dry eye in the whole dorm.
wrod.
Dammit, thinking of the Korean musicians is making me choke up again.
edit: I loved the episodes where they delved into Korean cultures, especially the religion.
