Thanks! I think I have finally crammed everything into my suitcase and carry on. So, now I'm actually sitting down for a couple of minutes and waiting for TCG to get home from work.

I end up having to take a lot of medical supplies, which get used up during the trip, magically leaving room for souvenirs! Other things can be shipped home. One of the great things is on bigger items when you ship them home they will often refund the tax on the item, then add the shipping, which work out to be just about the same.

And good luck on the Michaels interview, askye! I worked there for a few years back in the early '90s, and it was a good place to work. Ended up learning how to tie bows with ribbon, which my mom puts to good use every Christmas that I'm with her. The cross-stitch piece I'm working on right now was one I bought at that time.
