That was his passion and he did a lot of good in their lives. That's really his legacy.
I'll also note that he changed my life and Emmett's, as I was pretty hesitant to embrace all the work and responsibility that comes with joining a tournament team when Emmett was a wee bit of 8 years old. But you talked about Rob and his work and that was a big influence on my decision. So a room full of trophies, and a six banners over Albany Little League later, it was absolutely the right choice for Emmett.
Oh holy Christ, I just got a text from one of his boys--the one he was probably closest to--asking if I had a valentine today, and if not would I please be his because he owes it to his big brother. Bawling now.
