[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think I will take your migraine if you take my cramps.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

askye, hope the medicine kicks in soonest.

I'm going to pass on the migraines and the cramps, no offense. May you each feel better pronto.

Hello, my friends. Another long and eventful day. I may have to fire one of my crew, which SUCKS, but he is draining all my time, energy, and patience. I finally caught my supervisor up on everything and he was fairly appalled. We had a "come to Jesus" with the kid, and we'll see how the next few days go. Complicating matters is that if he leaves in the next two weeks, we can replace him. If he leaves after that, we lose the position and the funds for the year.

In better news, we pitch our business idea tomorrow! I'm excited and nervous, but if we win we're going to give part or most of the money to the group that is absolutely ready to use it. We can't make this thing happen, but maybe we'll catch the ear of someone who can.

I also called StW spur of the moment and he came and had a drink with me while I grabbed dinner. Hadn't seen him in a week and a half, so that was nice. We're both so busy, and so tired.

I am sooo glad I have the day off tomorrow, even though it won't be super restful.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I moved about 500 miles to get away from my family ... and my mother moved down here. sigh ....

If she tries that shit, it will be a rude awakening. I try to be diplomatic, but this would end up being "Don't move, because you will see me even less than you do when I am in DC, and you won't have your support system that you do in DC"

I bet you made the mistake of telling her where you were.

Hartford's not that big, she would find me.

Atlanta's a pretty long drive, Vortex. IJS.

yes, but your awesomeness cannot make up for the fact that we have family there, which she would use as a basis to visit often/suggest moving.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

askye, feel better soon! I suggest you don't follow up your uti with an ear infection, I went that route and it's really not recommended.

Vortex, I hope you're able to get your charger back from the hotel.

Holy crap, I'm going to the UK today! Well, technically I'm getting on a plane today and getting to the UK tomorrow. So much to still do!

Aw, Vortex, that sucks. still campaigning for a move to NOLA

Oh. My. HEAVENS. I slept in until 9, took Frankie to the park (he made friends with a 14-mo boy who's first word is "woof" and we played catch) and I just ate a leisurely breakfast while catching up on the board. Now I have to go be productive and shit, but it's gorgeous outside and feels great not to be at work today, especially since I've got another two 12-hr days tomorrow and Saturday.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Now I have to go be productive and shit

I am SO sorry, but I read that last word as a verb, and thought, yeah, that IS productive!

Our wings are not tired.

Holy crap, I'm going to the UK today!

Woot! How are you feeling today, other than overwhelmed because who wouldn't be?
