[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, look, whine a little bit and your inbox starts filling up!

Well, when you whine about not being able to give people stuff, then yeah!

Basically! I was like, I was there earlier, so I guess I don't need a postcard, but if you want to go out of your way, have at it!

Thrive to spite them

Well turns out I have a UTI. Next time I start feeling like this I'm calling the dr right away instead of waiting.

I'm taking a medicine I'd never heard of (at least I think I've never heard of it) Cephalexin. Hopefully it will work.

Cephalexin

Keflex is probably the most common non-generic name.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

It's a fairly good antibiotic. It should kick some bacterial ass.

I find it pretty side-effect free, if taken with food.

Hey. New board.

I took Cephalexin to help back during my acne days. My dad (a doctor, with all the write-prescriptions-for-family-members goodness that implies) kept a 500-count bottle in our medicine cabinet, next to the Tylenol. A perk I greatly wished for when I recently had to pay $250 for a doctor's visit and strep test (I'm on a high-deductible plan and had not yet hit the deductible) when I knew exactly what I had, since my wife was diagnosed the morning before, just to get an antibiotics prescription.

Thrive to spite them

I'm taking it 3x a day for 5 days so this should be cleared up before I go home. The only problem is I can't see my urologist until the 27th. I was going to see her tomorrow, but now she wants to see me after I take the antibiotic.

This is where it gets complicated - she's only in the office here Thursdays and Fridays. I leave next Thursday (13th) to go home and come back the following Thursday (20th) afternoon, too late to schedule an appointment for that day. BUT she's in surgery all day on Friday the 21st. So the 27th is the first day I can see her.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

So you can't schedule the appointment now?
