Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Ooh. Is that a promise?
Mental note... Must get a place with a basement... And a safe word.

I actually had a fabulous dream the other day. A younger Clint Eastwood and me...
The Doctor will be jealous.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Maybe the grindy broken fan was putting off more heat than it was cooling?

Thanks, Zenkitty. I'm feeling completely sick with anxiety this morning.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Mental note... Must get a place with a basement... And a safe word.

A little hint: "Harder" is not a good choice for a safe word.

I'm feeling completely sick with anxiety this morning.

Thinking cooling thoughts toward's sj's anxiety.

Our wings are not tired.

About the house with Evil!REAgent, sj? I know real estate stuff is very stressful, but you are the buyer, the boss, the customer. I'm hoping for the best resolution here.

Thrive to spite them

sj I hope things work out for the best with the house and the Evil Agent has learned some tact.

Anyone have any advice on humidifiers? I woke up several times last night because I felt so parched. This morning I felt like a dried out husk of a person. I've never bought one and started looking and now have no idea what to get.

Logically, I know that, but by nature I am extremely conflict avoidant.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

What Laura said. Remember, sj, if this falls through, you have LOTS of other houses to choose from out there. Sounds like the seller only has you at this point.

One last thing--having bought and sold several houses over the years, I can promise you that something ALWAYS goes wrong. It gets fixed, but it seems to always happen. It's such a big deal when you are buying a house that it seems like it should be really smooth and professional, but it's just people doing their jobs. If you go in expecting bumps in the road as an expected part of the process, it makes it easier when they show up.

I really wish this were true, but three months of searching shows that there really aren't that many ranches on the market in our area, and even less that have had any updates since they were built in the 70s.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Calm~ma, sj. I hope the meeting goes well.

Paging Teppy:

Do you know anything about the potential interaction between regular Zyrtec (cetirizine) and buspirone? M has been taking buspirone for a while, and also takes antihistamines regularly. He usually takes Claritin, but has been taking Zyrtec instead the last couple of weeks, and is now wondering if it might be interfering with the way the buspirone works -- seems like it's been less effective lately.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

None that I can find.

(Although -- not related to Zyrtec at all -- does M know he shouldn't drink grapefruit juice while he's taking buspirone? The info page for buspirone specifically mentioned not to drink grapefruit juice.)
