I hate to break it to you, oh impotent one, but you're not the big bad anymore, you're not even the kind of naughty.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Well, to my memory, people were still pretty resistant to the whole idea of another Trek, shocking, so the inter-crew skepticism was probably mirroring the audience's. Although they really were douchenozzley, and I'm pretty sure some of my character hate-ons were carried through from that season.

Who knew that Wesley would become, like, the most awesome internet presence ever?

INORITE?

That's one of the funniest parts of this rewatch -- I remember when I was first watching that I and everyone else found Wesley SUPER-annoying. This time through, he's one of the only characters I like because he's one of the few characters not being a total douchenozzle to everyone else, and everyone else is being a massive tosser to him just because he's a kid (even though he's the only one who ever knows what's going on, and has saved their asses two or three times now).

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Henna is just too much trouble for a person as lazy as I am. I'm tempted to cut it real short, see how gray it really is, and start over.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

So, umm, should I separate the activistic part from the "professional background" into a different section? It is starting to make my professional background a bit unrelated to my actual profession, which I also love to pieces, no matter what it is I feel like doing in my non-work and not-university hours.

You can separate it into a section called "professional affiliations/activities", which is what I do.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Feh. StW had to cancel dinner plans for the second time this weekend. Haven't seen him in two weeks. Feh. And I've got the Sunday Night Dreads.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm actually working on changing my work schedule so that I WFH on Mondays going forward just so I can avoid (if I'm interpreting this right) Sunday Night Dreads. This is in addition to my usual Tuesdays, so Wednesday would be the first day of the week I go into the office. But at that point I'm not coming off a weekend so I think it will not have the same effect.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Don't worry, the Giants will come back in Act II and win it.
