This distresses me; I should fly out to Seattle this weekend so I can get schooled, no?
Not this weekend, I will be in PDX. (I know, I know, we're talking fantasy world. But still. Scheduling is scheduling.)
Some good news: Mom's out of surgery. It went fine, and her lymph nodes are clear.
Glad to hear it!
Woo! Good news!
Fantabulous, Debet! That's great news.
I will say from when we were trying to sell our house, lowball potential offers were VERY frustrating. No one wrote one up (because our agent called us when the other party was interested and we said they shouldn't even bother), but as our list price would have still involved bringing 20k to the table to close, we just could not afford to even look at anything much lower.
And that's why we now have renters.
Can your agent figure out how much they actually owe on the place?
Well crap. I wasn't supposed to announce that, especially not on facebook, and now one of the producers is upset with me. Today just went from great to suck in about two seconds flat.
Yay for good news, Debet!
Plei, we know what they paid 7 years ago. They bought high and I do feel for them, but if they really want to sell right now, I really don't think they are going to be able to get what they are asking. Maybe in a few more years but not now. My real estate agent is going to call their agent and say that they are able to make a more reasonable counter offer we are still interested, but that his market research does not support their price. We'll see.
