Vortex, I love the idea of you living closer.
I'm feeling better tonight. My fever is down and I'm eating soup and drinking juice.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am shaking my head at the mothers of the Stephanies.
Someone tell me to go buy groceries! I am out of many important things, pretty much everything. But I can't decide whether to order a produce box for delivery or pickup tomorrow. Help me decide? Here's what I'd get for around $25:
Yellow Squash (Ponchatoula/Hungarian Settlement)
Sweet Potatoes (MS)
Bell Peppers (Husser)
Apples (Mississippi)
Turnips or Radish (Husser/Hungarian Settlement)
All Natural Shiitake (MS)
All Natural Arugula (HM&F)
Cajun Grain Rice (Kinder)
Herbs (NOLA)
Micro Greens (NOLA)
Turnip Greens or Tat Soi (Hungarian Settlement)
Corn Flour (Pride)
For another $5, I can feed my yard egg addiction. I should do it, right? I just am all decided out right now and stressing about money.
That's a lot of good food for $25 I think. But will you use it all before it goes bad? Or, at least, freeze the freezable things?
Here's an idea: make a menu, day by day, of what you'd cook with all that and what else you'd need to do said cooking. Only after you write all that out are you allowed to buy it.
Oof.
I made it to all six classrooms. I spent about five minutes in each one. The undergrad proctors were all there, and didn't have too many problems. It was raining outside. The two buildings furthest apart were nearly a mile apart. Nearly every pathway to one of the buildings was blocked by construction.
Can it be Friday yet?
Sheesh, Hil. Glad you survived.
My ankle is really hurting now, too.
I'm glad you survived it Hil. I hope you don't have the same problem next time.
sj, I can't remember where you are, but that is one of the best things about being a Buffista -- there are almost always friends nearby. :)
Glad that you made it, Hil. So, is there an opening at your college :) Kidding.
Apparently everybody else has also been having issues with the admin person who told me "complaining won't change anything," too. She doesn't really know how to organize the exams, which is understandable since this is her first semester doing it, but she gets really rude and huffy whenever anyone asks her about something she doesn't know.
