So, today's work woes: Spoiled Brat and Puppy Boy are off on another site, and the rest of the crew and I had a lengthy talk. I didn't realize how bad SB's attitude had gotten - they all said they'd rather work with PB. He openly talks shit about me behind my back and undermines my authority. He's bumped crew members with the trailer (so much for not needing a guide). Etc, etc. So I will be joining my supervisor to have a talk with SB, and it's not out of the question that my crew will go from five to three this week.

It's a shame - they both have a great opportunity to grow, and they're both throwing it away with both hands.

As much as I'm very tired and would just like to shower, eat something and sleep now, the summer protest is reviving (Israeli version of Occupy Wall Street). So I'm gonna go and wish the new tent-city in Haifa my best wishes, leave them with few heat packs and Oreos for the night, and avoid arrest.

Thanks. It's a really cute house, not perfect but definitely stuff we can live with for a few years when we can afford to fix it up some more. Ranches are just not that popular around here and one floor living is a must for me, as is finding a place that we can put a washer and dryer on the main floor. Plus, the yard is fairly level, so no big flights of stairs just to get in the house.
