I'm absolutely certain that The Girl's family and I talked about a new law (or religious edict, I can't remember) that said restaurants in Israel would now only be certified kosher if women were required to dress modestly there. It's not a law. It's a(n illegal, for now) requirement from some business institutions - not only restaurants. And a very rare one, like spitting on girls in Bet Shemesh.

That's a possibility, yes. However, while religion here isn't separated from state, we're still far from things like this law to become a reality (honestly, I will leave Israel before craziness like that will occur. Enough is enough).
I'm at work, but I'll elaborate later. There's sort of a wacky Israeli explanation for this (well, at least IMHO).

Yeah last time it was. But this time - two pages maybe three. Don't expect it to be 20 minutes. But with only three pages (at most) affected expect it to be less than a day.
Is your manuscript the only thing they're working on? Maybe they have other stuff and can't immediately jump to work on your project.
