Simon: Captain... why did you come back for us? Mal: You're on my crew. Simon: Yeah, but you don't even like me. Why'd you come back? Mal: You're on my crew. Why we still talking about this?

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Frankenbudda, I'm glad your mom's doing better.

Thanks, y'all. Amyth's loads of fun to travel with, as are the other people in the group.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Much, much ~ma to you, Stephanie. (Also, I owe you an email!)

Today I have gone on two separate errand runs in which I procured bagels, gas for the car, cash for me, a set of spare keys, one maternity shirt, two non-maternity dresses that I hope will still look and feel OK with a growing belly, a burrito, and a 34-lb bag of cat litter. That's more than I've done in at least the past three weeks. And now I nap.

Improvement~ma for your mother, Frank.

Easing-tension~ma for you, Stephanie.

I have got nothing done today that I meant to do. I'm being held hostage by tumblr. I'm already following 41 people and I just joined yesterday.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Good news about your mom, Frank, and may she continue to improve.

Less-bitter-ma, Stephanie.

Dayum. Sail. I've been on about six months and you've already got me beat. I've deliberately gone very slowly though. It's my happy visual place. I could probably be content with Good Stuff, books and handwriting, interiors, things tea-related, and landscapes. Objects, perspective, and humans only as a curve or a shadow or a line.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Sending ~ma to Stephanie, and a little ~ma Iraq-ward.

Soccer was a gauntlet today. Franny had a double header. Oof. Now it's over, kids are home, fed, and bathed. Time to relax, right? Oh and do laundry and grade.

I'm such a magpie visually; I'm collecting all kinds of tumblrs. I imagine after the initial rush is over I'll go back over some of those tumblrs and unfollow them. Especially if they don't post very often. It's just all so new and shiny right now.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We did quite a few errands for the trip today, and then I ended up ruthlessly cleaning out a cluttered section of our room in a desperate search for my ipod (which I found).

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Newsies! Newsies!

I may have more coherent comments later.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

~ma to you, Stephanie.

Hil, what? Like Newsies the movie, like "King of New York," like "It's a Fine Life"?

Work is done, now I'm grabbing a shower and heading out to an art thingy on Magazine.

Yep! There's a stage version now, playing in NJ currently. I went to see it with my dad this afternoon.
