Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Sorry, Anne. Time for a nice cuppa? Decaf, of course...

Yikes, ND, almost not worth sleeping. Except for the being functional tomorrow, of course.

Our wings are not tired

I figure I will get a bit of a nap. I have to drive right back to LA after I get done with the work at the San Diego Zoo in the morning. I also have tech tomorrow night from 6 to midnight.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Today I have nasty stomach pain. I'm hoping it's because I couldn't eat yesterday. I had toast. We'll see if that helps. I'm entertaining myself with the Babylon 5 movies (a friend lent them all to me). I'd forgotten how bad the pilot was.

ETA: Happy anniversary, PixDesigns!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The hey the what now? ...I mean, that schedule surely sucks, but hey the what to the where now?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Here's an article on why celebrities' clothes usually look so much better than, say, mine: [link] [Note: some profanity and whatnot that might be NSFW.]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Celebs wear tailored clothes all the time? Down to T-shirts? Uh, that's overstating some shit. The highly famous ones, sure, but a lot of people who end up with their photos on Perez Hilton and shit are not wearing tailored clothes for a coffee run, especially the guys.

Thrive to spite them

2012 is fucking with my extended family.

One of my cousins has mitral valve prolapse and aortic dilitation due to Marfan's. She started having more problems earlier this week and she was supposed to have surgery today because the situation is so urgent.

Except she's not.

Because the OR scheduler forgot to confirm with the surgeon even though they confirmed the date with my cousin 5 times. So now she has to wait until Thursday.

She's having a lot of chest pain and is sleeping all the time, I don't know if they are keeping her in the hospital or sent her home.
