Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

There's never a bad time to hug an Italian.

You're like the anti-Brits.

Beautiful doggy, Laura!

Oh, I'm so sick. Bit better than last night at least. The Girl's whole family has this stomach flu, suggesting that we caught it at the shiva. I do wish I believed in karma right now. I'm owed at least a week in a mansion with cleaning fairies and a heated pool and dozens of cats.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

You're like the anti-Brits.

Nothing so funny as watching a Brit go rigid in recoil from a hug.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

sj, my 2012 comment was more in the general sense, because there seems to be a few buffistas that already find themselves giving the year the stinkeye. No difficulties for me just yet, though I still peek around the corners and tread very gently so as not to anger a year that's only 5 days old.

In that case I hope you and 2012 get along very well.

Thank you so much for the hugs, though. There's never a bad time to hug an Italian.

Very true.

And I meant to say {{{Chikat}}} and also {{{anyone else that needs them}}}.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Nothing so funny as watching a Brit go rigid in recoil from a hug.

Haaaaa. So, so true.

ChiKat, what a shitty pile of shit to deal with. Much ~ma to you, Mickey, and your dad. I hope it gets better for you all right quick.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Nothing so funny as watching a Brit go rigid in recoil from a hug.

Nah, I think recoiling Americans are funnier. Or maybe I've just encountered more of those.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Laura, gorgeous doggie! What's her name?

askye, taking the car to the shop *before* shit goes totally wrong is an awesome, totally adult decision. I virtually high-five you.

Our wings are not tired.

There's never a bad time to hug an Italian.

Not Italian, but grew up with them so maybe that is where I got it from {{{all y'all}}}

Laura, gorgeous doggie! What's her name?

Zoe! The foster dad had named her a name that is shared by my 3yo great niece and I thought that would not work with her mother or grandmother so we made a change. I may be spamming the thread with video of her running at the speed of light or tilting her pretty head back and forth watching the fish in the aquarium, and etc, etc.

I thought she was the quietest dog ever until my son Bobby opened up his car door in the driveway to head off to school this morning. We were out on the other side of the house and she went flying toward the gate barking like a fiend at the intruder. Sweeet!

She's a beauty, Laura! And good for her for landing with such a cool family.
