Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Congrats, Laura.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Wise choice, askye - hope the bill isn't too spendy.

Thrive to spite them

It got spendy.

The labor was going to be at least 3 hours and that would be $180. The part was going to be about $15.

They can't get the gasket they have to replace the assembly. So the part is a lot more, the labor will be less, and instead of $250ish I'm looking at $400. Plus they have to order it and can't get the part until tomorrow and do the repair. So now I have to reschedule Dean's vet appointment.

Ann, that's a ferret.

All comfort to Chikat, her father, and Mickey.

Our wings are not tired.

Ick, sorry askye. Car repairs are never fun.

Laura, she is the cutest!

askye, sorry about the spendy.

Thrive to spite them

I'm not too upset. It would have been a lot more if I'd just ignored everything until all the oil ran out. And in the past I might have just done that.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I had my car in the shop yesterday for an oil change and check up and was completely sure I'd get a call about additional work that was needed. But somehow the sun shone on me and it was just an oil change.

askye, I hope they get the work done quickly and don't discover anything new that needs immediate attention.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That's a bummer, askye. I'm glad you caught it before the oil ran out and your engine seized, though.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

ChiKat, I am so sorry. Much peace and love to you, Mickey, and your family.

2012? You obviously weren't listening. I *told* you not to act like your big brother 2011. That's not a good example to follow. Knock it the hell off.

askye, what Calli said. Replacing the engine would have been a lot more than $400.
