Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Ha! My niece just saw the URL for this site. Oh, dear. She knows of the buffy board people. I told her to stay away. Yup. Because that always works.

My Nephlet knows about us and I always fear he'll find us. I actually censor myself on family stuff for just that reason. I suppose I should be grateful that he's always in trouble enough that he never has free Internet access.

Pretty sure my Niecelet knows but doesn't care. There's nothing I say here that I wouldn't say to her though. She's 22. She's allowed to know that I think hot people are hot, fight with siblings and am fannish. She's possibly more fannish than I, fights with our family sometimes too and has pretty good taste in hot men. So that's fine.

Fifteen year old, angry Nephlet though? Yeah, no. But he's still my Supernatural buddy.

Yeah, in truth, there's not much I say here that she couldn't know. It's just not my rec for a thirteen year-old. I mean, scary bright, quite likely Holli levels when she was that age, but, yeah, no.

Niecelet was around that age when I joined and, yeah, not an appropriate place for her back then.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Woo, Beziers! Fantastique!

I survived my first of four 12 hour days, yay! At least I get a day off and then five nomal days after the first two. I'm already ready for bed, though.

Oh, shit. amyth, you around? One of my former bellydance acquaintances is applying for Cray Cray K's old job, or I guess BC's? She wants me to put in a good word for her and or tell her whatever I can. Honestly, the first word that comes to mind is RUN.

And speaking of former employers, my previous one is swirling ever closer to the drain. Like, can't make payroll. I wonder if my COBRA is going to evaporate. I wonder how fast I can get vision and dental appointments.

Frank, tons of ~ma for your mom.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Good luck, smonster--does your new job not offer health insurance, or are you just in a waiting period?

I just watched "What's Your Number", and not only was the ending ridiculous, it made me feel paranoid about, ahem, my number. OTOH, I am reminding myself I am much older have more years of dating experience than some. OTO,OH, I didn't start until later. Um. The current 'this is fun but wtf are we doing?' with Atlanta does not help. Sigh.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Sorry about Ryan's stomach troubles, billy tea.

His tummy's settled down now. I suspect it's because he's had a chest cold. He still doesn't know what to do with all the mucus he coughs up, so he winds up swallowing it. I think it just overloaded his stomach. Now that he's got rid of it, he's much better. (The drama was out of all proportion to the issue, really.)

Meanwhile: France! I hope you have a great time.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Aw, poor Ryan, but I'm glad to know he's feeling better.

~ma for your mom, Frankenbuddha.

France! Hope you guys are having a fantastic time. I had a dream last night about Paris (um, and math problems, but that's not relevant to the discussion at hand), so I like to think it means I'm with you in spirit, even if not in physical consumption-of-delicious-skeezy-cheeses.
