Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Hope everyone's Christmases/other winter festivals were nice.

Thoughts for you, bonny.

I just cross-posted to facebook after a friend suggested that sooner would be better than later to share the news.

I will have to go outside fairly soon and it will be easier on me if my local FB friends don't ask how Bartleby is.

The last line of the FB post thanks those who have "kept me anchored to the world since he left it."

That would be you all.

If we are connected in both places, please forgive the inundation.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Toddson,

I haven't been to the Good Riddance thread (bad buffista) but if you have a recent diagnosis of diabetes, that was me in july and folks in Bitches were really awesome. I have some suggestions depending on your circumstances and goals, so hit me up if you would like.

Damn you, spammers, it is fucking bad enough that you've co-opted my dead sister's email address, but on pretty much the one-year anniversary of her death???

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, Connie, how awful! Damn.

Can't sleep. Grr. I mean, it's not late, but I'm tired! My hip hurts and is keeping me up. And my monkey mind is leaping from branch to branch. Took some meds, hope they kick in soon.

Our wings are not tired.

Good grief, Connie. I'm sorry you have to have that knife twist.

You remain in my thoughts, Bonny. This last week I went ahead and put my application in with our Doberman rescue group. Gave them all my parameters and requirements. Could be 2weeks, could be 6 months or longer. I like not knowing when. It will happen at the right time.

Just emptied my house of the family. Tired. I refused to do any cooking. Junk food, drinks, a nice long boat ride, and they are gone. I told them I was doin a NYE party, but today was a day off to relax and not fuss. DH leaves tomorrow for 5 days again for basketball tournament. He knows I won't mind a few quiet days.

Thank you Laura (and everyone).

I love this idea for you. Somehow the 'leaving it to fate' aspect seems like such a good way to go.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Connie, that sucks. A lot.

My animals always found me; this was more setting it in motion than usual for me. I had a Doberman before Brandy and always loved the breed. I thought I would want a long break after Brandy, but there is this empty place in my home that will need to be filled. Still I wish for it and dread it at the same time.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Miss Kitty was a trip to the pet rescue cause I was missing my dog, Honey, who we had to put down a couple of months before. I swore I just wanted to look at the puppies and I ended up coming home with a cat. I tried walking away from her a few times and then finally listened to that voice in my head.

Noodle came to the family after I kept having this strong feeling that Miss Kitty needed a friend. The first few cats we visited with were nice, but just nice. Noodle was IT from the first moment she came into the visitation room. Funny how animals can do that.
