Aren't there GF graham crackers? I'm pretty sure I've seen them in grocery stores.

There are, but I don't have any on hand, and I didn't want to go to Whole Foods, and they're kind of disproportionately expensive (or more than what I'm willing to pay for graham crackers, which is silly when I consider what I pay for GF chocolate chip cookies).

I just put 5 loaves of chocolate chip pumpkin bread in the oven. That's right. 5.

Dang! You SO win! Your house is going to smell SO GOOD in about 15 minutes.

I'm very intrigued by making them with oats, though.

As am I. I will likely stay awake until reviews are posted. Unless you don't actually make them tonight; then I'll probably go to sleep. But I'd be a little sad.

It's like Christmas! Oh.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

It already smells good. They've been in the oven almost 30 minutes now.

You're doing great, smonster! We have Foie-reos here if you want a decadent protein snack.

If you're putting away clothes, you can do that duvet cover right quick!

...I need to get off the couch and leave the house, which I haven't actually done today. er.

Excellent progress! (ETA: to smonster. meara... happy visiting Outsideland, if that's your choice.)

OK, I am inspired to make a list, at least, for what needs to happen tomorrow before I leave Friday. I'm having gastro issues today, which I totally brought on myself yesterday by thinking, "Wow, I haven't had gastro issues since I moved. Awesome!" Stupid brain.

Just needed to say it the once, however.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Alright, smonster, I have stuff to do, too. Not as hefty a list as yours, but still... stuff that won't do itself.

  • Put a load of laundry on the indoor line downstairs.
  • Put away the booty of today's four-stop shopping spree. (This is IT. I am never shopping again. At least in 2011.)
  • Finish Holiday cards and get them ready to send out.
  • Get Daniel to sign Holiday cards.
  • Decide the best presentation of a cheap, pre-paid cell phone for a beloved coworker who does not have one and cannot afford one. We took up a collection for it because she does a lot of driving and we worry about her safety. And it does not have to be a financial burden on her after the prepaid time/minutes are up, because she will still be able to call 911 in an emergency and that is what we want for her.
  • There may be more, but I can't think of it right now.
