Cat got up and puked all over the bed at 4 am. Lovely.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Should one tip one's garbagemen by mailing a check to the company, or by taping a card to the top of the trach bin and hoping they see it? Also, how much should one tip one's garbagemen? It's the same two guys every time.
found insurance card...it was flipped over so it looked like Used Gift Card or something.
sigh ... I REALLY have to pay less attention to the news. Yesterday in church I thought I heard the reader say it was a reading from "the Book of Newt".
btdt. (Well, stuff like it, anyway)
OMG, so tired. What a day. Evaluated 14 1/2 properties for deconstruction. The 1/2 property we would have needed a flat bar to get into and an adorable chihuahua found us (see fb). Plus, two of my crew (of five) went home with what I'm pretty sure is the flu. Damn, I wish I'd managed to get a flu shot. Thankfully I haven't spent much time with them for the last week or so.
As for the pup, I named her Coco Robicheauxuaua after the musician who just died (we found her on Music St). I was trying to figure out if I could keep her (Frankie would LOVE her, the cats would kill me in my sleep and/or Xusa would eat her as a snack), but I took her by my vet (which is also a no kill shelter) and they said they'd have no problem placing her where she'd have the crap spoiled out of her. It's for the best, I can barely afford the pets I have, but damn it was hard to give her up. I don't even like chihuahaus! But she just snuggled right up to me and was totally chill and didn't yap once.
Now I'm doing laundry, finally, and then I will go home to crash.
I'm up waiting for a repairman to finally come and fix the light over our kitchen sink. He is now late, and I am computerless. Thank goodness for cellphones with internet access.
Awww, but you're totally doing the right thing.
Sigh. As much as Nilly kept saying thank God when I spoke with her (literally: Blessed is the Lord, Baruch-HaShem), and one can almost hear her smiling, it doesn't make it easier or less sad.
She's still awesome, btw.
smonster, it sounds like Ms. Coco is on the path to an awesome Xmas. Yay.
