I'll be buying LED bulbs from now on, no more CFL.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
What's the preferred light then?
For some unknown reason my eyes are 3x as green under the CFLs so I am all for 'em. Oh yeah, the whole planet thing is important too.

cracked my shit up.
I think I prefer sunlight (sunset or sunrise) lighting, but I can't be sure. Candle light makes me feel like I'm going blind.
At one point I had "natural spectrum" bulbs all over the house and I loved it, so much nicer to my eyes. When I switched to CFL everything looked wrong for quite a while. I'll have to look for the daylight CFLs for when the current batch needs replacing.
The way I reacted wasn't positive but the changes were and I'll learn from this and next time maybe I'll react in a much more positive manner.
That is a super cool way to look at things.
Home sick. At least this explains my weird cranky mood last night? Scratchy throat, crying at nothing, feel feverish but am sub (that's common for me). Also, no appetite. Bought Fisherman's Friends on the way home, gonna nap. At least my Amazon filler purchase of The Losers came in the mail yesterday, so I have something to watch! And I'm expecting a UPS package, so I'll be home if they deliver.
Feel better, smonster.

See, now, isolating that line makes it looks like spam for a self-help video course. So, yeah, funny as heck.
I slept for about four hours, got up, fed myself and the animals. I also managed to do dishes and enter into YNAB the bills I have to pay this month. Now I'm going to reward myself with hot apple cider with lemon, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and WHISKEY.
Yum. And also, yay productivity. You deserve the reward.
I took the day off from work to help get ready for our holiday open house tomorrow. We went to about a million (okay, it was five) stores and spent about $400 on food and drink.
By the way, all localistas are invited--we were kinda sloppy about invites this year and not everyone got one. If you want to come, it's tomorrow between one and five. Email me if you want the address.
