Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

His cat herding instincts will never go away, though. He's a Corgi. But he just needed some attention and a pack leader.

Corgis are tough. My parents were definitely not strong-willed enough to deal with Molly, our old corgi. She used to herd the cats upstairs when she heard my dad's car in the driveway, and then wait at the door with a proud grin on her face. So glad Frankie is an easy dog.

Mac'n'cheese and pecan pie: one scope down, three to go! Unfortunately, the pictures I rely on to refresh my memory (I evaluated these properties months ago) are not where they should be. This could be tricky.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Darby won't go near Corgis because we used to dog sit for a kind of mean one.

(Girl has issues. There are blocks we can't go down because at some point in the past, she was, or felt herself in imminent danger of being, barked at. What cracks me up is that she's really no longer fearful like at the beginning. She's just very determined.)

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I grew up with Scotties. We always had a Scot -- that's a stubborn dog. I wasn't prepared for the shedding and the hyper. Scots are active but mellow, possessive, can be very assertive (they were bred to fight freaking badgers) and a little aloof with anyone but their Chosen Ones.

I am much like a Scottie.

Corgis are smart, but hyper and herding dogs. But their stubbornness is nothing on a Scot.

If we ever get another dog, after Arthur dies, it will be a Scottie. I KNOW Scots. Love 'em.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Mr Peabody is a Corgi/Jack Russell. He gives new meaning to the word stubborn.

OMG, a Corgi/Russell mix? I can't even imagine the energy! Russell's are smart little bundles of hyper; I can totally see the stubborn.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Man, if dogs that cute could grow up and be really big, I'd be in some sort of conflicted heaven.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Two down, two to go! My coworkers went out and got pictures so I could stay here and keep plugging away.

Compassionately intolerant

Man. I've been so elsewhere lately that I feel like I've missed a lot of good dog convo.

I will say that Doxies, Chihuahuas and Jacks are 1, 2 and 3 on the 'most dangerous' list for biting. There are lots of genetic and 'cultural' reasons for this...as in, little dogs get a pass on everything and it makes them crazy.

That Chiweenie is massively adorable and may be fortunate enough to have the best of both breeds but, I'd want to get a temperament assessment before recommending the combo to anyone.
