::concerned expression:: Are you okay?
Sucky day. Arguing with friends over stupid shit. Wrangling with Comcast for 6.5 hours. No big. Just... you know. exhausted.
'Bushwhacked'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

ust... you know. exhausted.
Let us flop on the existential couch together.
Today began with the 3rd trip to the vet hospital in 4 days. Sigh.
I'm totally with you on the exhausted front.
::flop::
::hugs virtual Bartleby::
I am indeed having hot Nicholas right now. (And I learned that Bailey's can, in fact, go bad. ::shudder::)
Zenkitty, when we were at Tim's dad's house, we were looking at his IEEE magazine and it made me all happy, thinking that a friend of mine works on that. Goofy, I know. But the sentiment is no less true for being goofy.
bonny, is Bartleby okay? How are *you*?
Steph, which IEEE magazine? Spectrum?
Zen, sorry you had a rough day.
bonny, is Bartleby okay? How are *you*?
What the nice lady said.
I took a bath and I'm dressed, and am heading out to the pub crawl. Kinda don't wanna go, but I know it'll be fun and I'll regret it if I don't.
Steph, which IEEE magazine? Spectrum?
Spectrum. It was the issue with the really remotely located 10,000-year clock.
Spectrum is hot. nods
bonny, is Bartleby okay? How are *you*?
Yes and no.
We are 44 days into this situation...plus the 5 years, of course...and he is still not healed.
We changed antibiotics yesterday, which precipitated some 'interesting' side effects...added to the existing stuff.
The multiple trips to hospital have been for laser treatments for his wounds to promote the healing that is going slowly and because of continued blood draining from his backside wounds and spraying of blood from his nose .
No more lasers though because the treatment cured one problem and created another. Which has been the way of it, so far.
The upside is that his nose seems a bit better with the new antibiotic. Though I will not count that chicken for a few days.
The stab-in-the-dark hope is that the new drug will manage the infections on both ends.
Another upside is that the emergency docs have taken pity on us and manage most everything on the phone, so that when I show up for the laser treatments, they don't charge me for the appointment. The nurses handle the laser treatment and, since it is experimental, it's cheap.
The next steps include seeing a dermatologist and possibly a CT scan of his head.
I would gratefully appreciate prayers that we need neither of these things. Healthy calm, that is my strongest desire.
I'm just wicked tired. And unfocused. I've been escaping into tv when I really ought to be taking advantage of this time to get stuff done. Sigh.
You're probably too exhausted to get stuff done, Bonnie. Let your brain rest.
